In these new limited editions I'm trying to stretch the parameters of erotic fantasy but keeping within the boundaries of
taste and class. She is candid grace and beauty. She is either innocent or brazen; I entice the viewer to decide.
The beautiful female form in the paintings and juxtaposition of the bold colours combine to create teasing playful
scenes. The strong contrasting light, use of close-up and emphasis on detail is a reminder of the ongoing interplay with
the viewer.
As in the majority of my paintings the lady’s face is hidden in these pieces, her anonymity remains allowing the viewer
to put their own face to the woman, perhaps someone they know? I also ensured in these pieces to add glamour that
the surroundings are ambiguous and placed in a timeless space so there is an absence of decade and era.
Each pose is cropped in such a way as to invite you in…a window to your fantasy.
